Teen violinist-composer Ellie Malonzo premieres concerto

Teenage virtuoso violinist and composer Ellie Malonzo, 13, will premiere her concerto for two violins this weekend with her teacher Paul Wright and Fremantle Chamber Orchestra.

The program at Fremantle Town Hall on Saturday and PHC Synagogue in Menora on Sunday also features Vivaldi’s Concerto for Strings, Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto 6, Rolla’s Divertimento for Viola and Strings, Brahms’ Sextet 1: Allegro Ma Non Troppo, and Dvorak’s Romance for Violin.
